The T|A Impact Scholarship

Purpose:

To provide a one-time $1000 scholarship to help cover college related expenses not covered by tuition and room and board.*

Criteria:

Graduating Senior in the 2023 - 2024 academic year attending a Birmingham City School System High School
GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Accepted into a two or four year college/university
Demonstrated community involvement throughout high school

Scholarship Requirements:

Submit minimum 500 word essay addressing one of the following topics:
- How do you plan to use your college education to make an impact?
- How do you plan to make an impact on the world?
Submit proof of acceptance into college/university
Submit one letter of recommendation from your high school counselor or teacher
Submit one letter of recommendation from a person who can speak to your community involvement

Application Deadline:

April 15, 2024

*Awarded in two $500 disbursements.
