The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho | Amazon

The Alchemist is an international best selling book. The author, Paulo Coelho, uses this incredible book to speak to a diverse audience. Throughout the book, the main character, Santiago, is in search of his Personal Legend. His Personal Legend is the thing that most of us are also in search of, our purpose on this Earth. Santiago encounters numerous people throughout his journey to discovering his Personal Legend and seeking his hidden treasure. The people and experiences that Santiago encounters teaches him valuable lessons that help push him further along his journey. While this is a fictional book, it perfectly describes life. We all encounter various people and situations that help us grow and become better people on our journey of life.

The author touches on various other areas throughout the book including spiritual concepts and love. It helps put the broader meaning of life into perspective. This book was a very enjoyable read. It’s the perfect length of just under 200 pages. It’s not too short to leave you wanting more, but not too long to lose your interest. This book is able to communicate a deep concept in an easily digestible manner. I highly recommend reading this book. I’m confident it will have a very meaningful impact on your life. After reading this book, you are sure to look at life just a little differently.
